Teacher Creature Project
Project Description
In this project we had to ask a teacher of your choice questions about themselves and incorporate that into a Photoshop projects that we would do with their faces. We would have to blend their faces by mainly learning how to off the internet. We watched how to videos/tutorials that were important to the project. It was important that we made the picture still look like our teacher just altered to look like someone or something else.
Struggles of this Project
The hardest part of this project was smudging Michael Jordan's Face into my teacher Dave's face.
Favorite Part of this Project
My favorite part of this project was playing with the things I love in Photoshop. (Basketball)
What Have I Learned about myself from this Project
I have learned that I can be very creative and that if I put hard work into my art then I can do anything.

Film Project
Project Description/Reflection
In this project we were given a task, a task to create a documentary about whatever we want. I decided to create a film about how basketball has affected my life and the life of one of my friends, Reed Frey. We started learning the ropes of filming with watching the Documentary "Blackfish" which studied the captivity of Orca Whales at Sea World. We took notes on what we saw and executed that into our films. I believe that I my project turned out great and I am very proud of it.
In this project I learned how to take certain shots with my camera. We took notes on a lighting video and learned that most photographers tend to take pictures in what is called "the Golden Hour". This concept is a time of day when the sun is barely over the sky which creates the perfect lighting with no glare or shadows. I have learned so much about cinematography in this project and I am happy that I got to use it.
I loved the fact that in this project I was able to express myself by making my film about Basketball. I am very happy that my friend Reed helped me in the creation of this film. I also love that even if not many people see that maybe it will encourage people to try and play basketball because it is the best sport in the world.
If there was anything that I could change in this project it would definitely be not putting a Kevin Durant interview in the film. Kevin is my idol and I wish he was in there because even though I don't know him I feel like I do and he has taught me a lot about basketball and that there are bigger things in the world than it. I really wish I had spent the time to put him in my video.
